Oregano, which has been consumed in Greece and Italy for centuries, is a very popular herb in Québec cuisine. Its taste is somewhere between mint and basil.
In cooking, as with most fine herbs, it is recommended to add oregano only at the end of cooking to preserve its aroma. Its use is widespread; try our organic oregano in:
- stews and other simmered meals
- spaghetti sauce
It is also used for its medicinal properties. Infused, this herb offers anti-infectious benefits.Safety: We recommend that you consult with a qualified healthcare practitioner before using any herbal products, particularly if you are pregnant, nursing, or on any medications.
