Fluffy, Nutritious and Plant-Based Waffles
These vegan hemp protein waffles are soft, fluffy, and packed with plant-based protein. Made with oats, bananas, and hemp protein, they’re perfect for a healthy breakfast or brunch. Naturally sweetened and easy to prepare, they deliver both nutrition and comfort in every bite.
Ingredients (Makes about 8 waffles)
- 2 bananas
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 cups plant-based milk (any kind)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1/4 cup hemp protein powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
Instructions
- Preheat your waffle maker and lightly grease it.
- Add all the wet ingredients (bananas, maple syrup, plant-based milk, vanilla, and apple cider vinegar) to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Add the dry ingredients (oats, hemp protein powder, salt, baking powder, and baking soda).
- Blend for about 2 minutes until you get a smooth and creamy batter.
- Pour about 1/2 cup of batter into the waffle maker and close it.
- Cook for 2–3 minutes, until the waffles are golden and cooked through.
- Serve with maple syrup, yogurt, fresh berries, and sprinkle with hemp seeds.
